New Photos Of Mercury Surface Show Geologic Intricacy

In a joint mission between the European Space Agency and the Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency, spacecraft BepiColombo sent these stunning images of Mercury’s surface back to scientists on earth. The images detail interesting tectonic and geologic features of the planet like the Beagle Rupes, lines on the surface formed by the heating and cooling of the planet.
