Large Decline in Mayflies Population in the U.S. a Warning Sign

A recent study found that there has been a 50 percent decline in mayflies population in the Upper Mississippi River Basin region, and scientists say that’s an alarming sign. The study was published in Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences.
