Glaciers May Disappear from 21 World Heritage Sites by 2100, Study Finds

Almost half of the World Heritage sites could lose their glaciers by 2100 if business-as-usual greenhouse gas emissions continue, according to a new global study published in the journal “Earth’s Future” by scientists with the International Union for Conservation of Nature.
